This is the post that was meant for last Monday. When Friday rolled around and I still hadn't posted it, I decided I might as well wait until it was actually the right day. I'm always eager to try a new craft (see:
Finding My Banjo), and when I found out that both my sister Laci and my mom wanted to try needle felting, I started looking more closely at the kits I'd been eying for a while. I got a magical mushroom kit from
fancytiger and we started needle felting!

Needle felting is not at all what I thought it would be like, but I think it is really interesting. It's been almost two weeks and I still haven't picked it up again (I'm working on another neat project at the moment), but I definitely do see more needle felting in my future!
